Super Happy Healthy Kids

This fee-based not-for-profit after-school program is committed to engage kids with fun and valuable activities that pass on core values of kindness, leadership and motivation.  They encourage kids to develop self-discipline, self-expression and healthy active lifestyles through healthy eating, arts and crafts, music, meditation, sports, chess, yoga, karate, and new this year - Spanish & Mandarin languages. They teach our children and families to think positively and to communicate with kind words and deeds. They seek to create a better future by building our kids up to be leaders with strength and compassion.

They are a Non-Profit, Department of Education approved vendor, and fully insured. They only provide organic fresh fruits as snacks and they are a “No Added Sugar After School”. They are one of the only programs in the city that accept Pre-K to 5th Grade.

Chess builds strong and creative thinking. Players become accustomed to looking for more alternatives, resulting in greater fluency and originality. Chess offers immediate rewards and consequences for problem solving. Competition fosters interest, promotes mental alertness, challenges players and elicits the highest level of achievement.
